Who owns what
Short answer: you keep ownership of everything you submit. We only ask permission to show it.
We will never sell your photographs, license them to anyone, or use them in advertising. We will not use a member’s photograph to promote the samaj without asking that person first.
Only submit what is yours to submit
- Only upload photographs you took, or have permission to use.
- Get consent from anybody clearly identifiable in a photograph before submitting it.
- Never upload a photograph of a child who is not your own without the parents’ permission.
- Do not copy text, images or guides from other websites into submissions.
The site’s own material
Our written guides, country pages, articles and design belong to PalSamaj.org. You are welcome to share links freely, and to quote short passages with attribution — that is what they are for. Please do not republish whole guides elsewhere without asking.
Some illustrations on this site were produced with AI image tools and are used to illustrate articles and pages. They do not depict real events, real gatherings or real members. Photographs of actual community gatherings, when we publish them, will always be genuine and captioned as such.
If we have used something we should not have
Tell us and we will take it down while we look into it. Write to info@palsamaj.org with the page address, a description of the material, and confirmation that you own it or act for the owner.
Members who repeatedly submit material belonging to others will have their accounts removed.
