Something wrong? Tell us

Every complaint is read by a person. You do not need proof, and you will not be judged for raising it.

Urgent safety concerns come first. If a member has been threatened, harassed, blackmailed or defrauded, write with URGENT in the subject line. We aim to respond within 48 hours. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first — then tell us.
What to report

Anything that does not belong here

Fake or false profiles

Wrong age, hidden marital status, stolen photographs, or a profile created for someone else.

Requests for money

Any member asking you for funds, for any reason. Report it even if you did not pay.

Harassment or abuse

Abusive messages, unwanted contact after you asked someone to stop, or threats of any kind.

Privacy breaches

Someone sharing your photographs, messages or contact details without permission.

Underage profiles

Any matrimony profile you believe belongs to someone under 18. We remove first and investigate after.

Content and copyright

Material published without permission, or anything offensive on the site.

The process

What happens after you write

1

Write to us

Email info@palsamaj.org with Grievance in the subject and, if you can, a link or the profile name. Screenshots help but are not required.

2

We acknowledge within 72 hours

You will get a reply confirming we have it, from a person, not an automatic message.

3

We review within 15 days

For safety complaints, immediately. We may suspend a profile while we look into it — suspension is not a finding against anyone.

4

We tell you the outcome

Warning, content removal, suspension, permanent removal, or no action with a reason. If we can do nothing, we say so plainly rather than going silent.

Your privacy

What we tell the other person

  • We do not share your identity with the person you complained about, unless you tell us we may.
  • Complaints are seen only by the committee members handling them.
  • We keep a record so patterns of behaviour can be seen across separate complaints.
  • Complaints made dishonestly to damage someone may lead to action against the complainant.

Until the Executive Committee is seated and appoints a grievance officer, complaints are handled by the founder personally. Write to info@palsamaj.org.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you may escalate it to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
