Rooted in the soil, rising with the times
The Pal Samaj carries a proud pastoral heritage — a people of the land, known for hard work, courage and deep community bonds. For generations, our strength has been each other: families who worked together, celebrated together, and stood together through every season.
From the valour of our warriors to the wisdom of leaders like Ahilyabai Holkar — remembered for her justice, service and devotion — our story is one of dignity, resilience and quiet progress.
Today our families are spread across cities and countries, and the young sometimes grow up far from their roots. PalSamaj.org exists to close that distance.

Few leaders embody our values as fully as Rani Ahilyabai Holkar — the revered queen of Malwa, remembered across India for her justice, wisdom and tireless service to her people.
She built temples, wells, roads and rest-houses, uplifted the poor and protected the weak — ruling with humility and devotion. Her life is a lasting reminder that true leadership is service.

I started PalSamaj.org from my home in New York — a long way from the India I grew up in — with a simple wish: that no member of our community should ever feel alone or forgotten, and that every talented child among us should get a chance to rise.
I’m not a big organisation — I’m one person who loves this community and decided to begin. Right now it’s just me and a few well-wishers, building this brick by brick. If you believe in it too, I invite you to stand with me as a Charter Member and help shape what Pal Samaj becomes.
